JIIPE Industrial Estate in Gresik Regency, East Java has become a pilot of the third generation industrial estate to support the acceleration of development in Surabaya and its surroundings as well as in Indonesia.
The third industrial estate is an industrial area that is equipped with residential areas, business centers, education, entertainment and sports so that it becomes an independent and modern city such as JIIPE Gresik Industrial Estate.
In the JIIPE Gresik Industrial area there are various facilities needed by the industry, such as a 406.1 hectare port area, 1,761.4 hectares of industrial land and 765.77 hectares of housing, where currently around 1,400 hectares of land have been acquired, and JIIPE Industrial Estate plans build three power plants consisting of 15 megawatt (MW) PLTG (already built), 500 MW PLTG (construction starting in 2018), PLTB 600 MW (construction starting 2020).
JIIPE Gresik is a model for other Industrial Estates in Indonesia such as Surabaya Industrial Estate, Tuban Industrial Estate, Pasuruan Industrial Estate, Sidoarjo Industrial Estate, and Banyuwangi Industrial Estate. Where all the facilities that are needed by the industry are already available here and investors just enter.
And currently JIIPE Gresik Industrial Estate is one of the Industrial Estate in Indonesia that gets easy direct construction permit (KLIK) and only takes three hours to build a factory.
