East Java Province is the fourth largest contributor to investment realization in Indonesia in 2019. Furthermore, East Java has contributed 7.22% of the total investment in Indonesia which reached Rp 58.5 trillion.
During this time, investment activities in the province were carried out on a massive scale in three regions, namely Surabaya, Pasuruan, and Gresik. This is because in the three regions there are a number of industrial estates that have been operating, one of them is East Java Industrial Estate JIIPE in Gresik.
East Java Industrial Estate JIIPE which is a priority industrial estate contributes to attracting investors to Indonesia. One contribution of JIIPE's East Java Industrial Estate in attracting investors, both local and foreign, is evidenced by the continued increase in land sales every year.
This year, East Java Industrial Zone, JIIPE has set a target of selling 30 hectares of land. Nevertheless, this number could increase given the growing investor interest in the East Java Industrial Zone of JIIPE. In fact, currently the East Java Industrial Estate JIIPE is in the process of negotiating with several investors who are interested in investing their shares.
